The bachelor degree program in "Geological Sciences and Environmental Technologies" (class L-34 Geological Sciences) aims to provide solid foundational skills to train professionals capable of analyzing geological and environmental phenomena, managing geological resources sustainably, and protecting the sea and land. Students will acquire skills aimed at reducing risks associated with natural hazards and the inappropriate use of resources, as well as conducting preliminary investigations for the construction of buildings and structures. The degree program addresses geological issues using cutting-edge methods such as geognostic and geophysical surveys, remote sensing, image analysis with 3D modeling, and the use of Geographic Information Systems.
Professionals trained by the three-year degree program already have access to a wide range of career opportunities, from geo-environmental management and protection, risk prevention, land control, sustainability, and environmental impact assessment.
Graduates of this program are eligible for operational and professional support roles in:
Public and private research institutions and laboratories, Businesses, professional firms, or consulting firms, Local authorities and public administrations (State Forestry Corps and Regional Forestry Services), Mining and energy industries, Natural parks and reserves, nature museums, and educational centers.

Admission Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent foreign qualification recognized as valid under current legislation. Students enrolling at the University for the first time are required to take the CISIA (TOLC-S) test, a non-selective assessment of initial preparation. For further details, please consult the official page

After Graduation

After completing their bachelor's degree, graduates can continue their studies at UNICAM by enrolling in the Master's Degree in "Geoenvironmental Resources and Risks," which offers an international context of excellence. Furthermore, graduates can enroll in first-level master's programs offered by UNICAM or other Italian universities, or alternatively, enroll in continuing education programs that require only a bachelor's degree (AFTER GRADUATION)
